National Diabetes Information Portal

The portal offers general, quality-assured information on diabetes and related topics such as early detection, prevention and treatment of secondary diseases with current news and specialist articles.

Diabetes Incidence Register in Young People (DIREGT)

Since 1992, we at DIREGT at the German Diabetes Centre (DDZ) have been collecting information on people who have been newly diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. With over 20,000 new diabetes diagnoses recorded since 1992, DIREGT is one of the oldest and, in terms of numbers, largest regional epidemiological diabetes registries in Europe.

German National Cohort

Nationwide study on health and common diseases. By participating in the study, you are actively helping to advance research into common diseases and thus improve the health situation in Germany in the long term.
