Literature search, summary and evaluation of scientific studies according to the principles of evidence-based medicine
Systematic reviews and meta-analyses are the fundament of evidence-based medicine and influence guidelines and decisions for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Our aim is to conduct systematic reviews and meta-analyses of epidemiological and clinical studies in the field of diabetes research. In particular, we focus on lifestyle-related factors, including diet, with regard to diabetes prevention as well as the progression and development of diabetes-related complications and comorbidity.
